Linn-Benton 社区 College Inks New Recruits

On April 18, 95 new students committed to pursuing their technical education degree at Linn-Benton 社区 College during the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) Letter of Intent Signing Day. Students also got to see the lab space where they would be taking classes and meet their faculty earlier this month.

The signing day ceremony is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and to emphasize the importance of their career choice. 在活动当天， high school students were celebrated by their friends and families, college faculty and staff, industry partners, and potential employers. “By signing our incoming students to Letters of Intent, we’re telling them that we’ve reserved a place for them, and we want them,” said Amy Burbee, 博天堂官方 Cooperative Work Experience Department Chair. “Technical education will prepare them for a strong career. Industry leaders are excited about this opportunity because it validates the student and provides an opportunity for industry representatives to meet these future workers.”
